Privacy Policy

Privacy policy refers to Inner Beauty as 'IB’.
Inner Beauty has made some changes to its privacy policy so that IB complies with the new data protection regulations that changed on 25th May 2018. 
Theses changes do not effect the way IB handles your information, it just makes it much easier for you to find out how IB uses it, keeping data safe and secure at all times.

What information Inner Beauty needs

Inner Beauty needs your contact details, your: name, phone number, address, postcode and email address. IB also needs information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead, examples of medical history may include, allergies, ongoing medical treatments, referrals, pregnancy or an injury, etc.

Why do we need it, how will we use it and how long will we retain it?

Inner Beauty needs all the details above in order to ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes. 
IB will store your information for 7 years after the date of your last treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your last treatment took place. Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, this means that IB have a legal reason to ask you for your data because IB needs it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your personal data with IB, but if you do not then IB cannot offer you a treatment. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information) in order for IB to fulfil ours (carry out treatment). IB wants to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up-to-date. You can ask IB to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Where and how your data is stored

Inner Beauty stores your paper consultation forms in a locked filing cabinet. This information is entered onto a secure booking system (Ovatu) who are fully compliant with GDPR, this system will automatically send out SMS and email reminders of your appointments made and a birthday offer. IB consider you having made an appointment as a consent to undertake this activity, but if you want you may opt-out at any time by emailing the salon and informing us. Ovatu is run on a MacBook and iPhones that are both protected by passwords that only one member of staff knows. The system automatically stores your appointments.
Your name and mobile number are stored on a work mobile phone that is locked with finger id/password, in the unlikely event of the phone been lost or stolen all the information can be wiped remotely. If you SMS the salon mobile IB consider this consent on storing your name and number should you not wish the salon to do so you must specify on each SMS.

Marketing

Inner Beauty will not undertake phone, mail, email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for us to do so. Marketing is usually once a month but occasionally more. Offers of last minute availability varies.
Your right to request:

  • A copy of this privacy policy
  • Information stored about you
  • Removal of information after the contracted time scale stated above
  • Inner Beauty does not share or sell the information collected. You may request a copy of the information IB records about you. IB will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside the business.

    Terms & Conditions

    List prices and opening hours are subject to change without prior notice. Full terms and conditions are available on request and in the salon.

    Missed Appointments/Cancellations

    Missed/cancelled or moved appointments made less than 48 hours prior to an appointment will be charged at 50% of cost, less than 24 hours notice must be paid in full. If either of these occur more than 3 times within a 6 month period, then appointments will have to be paid for in full when booked and non-refundable if cancelled or missed.

    Face Mapping, Advanced Nutrition Programme advice and Make-up Colour Match are all free; however there is a £15.00 deposit on booking that is refunded on attendance. Should you not attend and fail to give the 24/48 hours notice the £15.00 is not refunded, as time will have been booked out.

    Late Appointments

    If you are delayed, I will try my best to offer the full treatment. Unfortunately, if you are late by 15 minutes or more then this will be classed as a missed appointment.
    If you are late by less than 15 minutes the full treatment price will be charged for shortened treatments, thus enabling treatments to run on time throughout the day.

    Treatment changes upon arrival

    Time and care is taken to set up for your treatment and an allocated amount of time is booked out exclusively for your treatment.
    If upon arrival you choose to shorten or change your treatment the original booking will be charged for.

    Pregnancy

    Please advise me if you are pregnant prior to making an appointment, as some treatments may not be suitable — particularly in the first trimester.

    Children

    It is with regret that Inner Beauty is unable to have the children in the salon (this is the specification of my insurance company).
    Late teens are permitted to have treatments if they have signed permission from a parent, and an adult has to be present during the treatment — but are only permitted on the premises if having a treatment.

    Facebook competitions and Offers

    Facebook promotional vouchers are valid for three months after date of win. A maximum of 2 prizes per client over a calendar month.
    Appointments cannot be cancelled and rebooked using a discount or offer within four weeks of the original appointment.

    Parking

    There is parking available on the road in front of the salon, please do not park on the on the drive or block cars in that are parked on the drive.

    Entrance to the salon

    If you walk down the right hand side of the property you will see a gate. Please make your way down the path to the salon on the left, enter and wait in reception.

    Gift Vouchers

    Gift vouchers are available for purchase. A thoughtful gift, they are always well received for any occasion.
    Choose either a value or a specific treatment. Please phone for further details, payment can be made over the phone and posted out free of charge if in the UK.
